###### How do I activate my card?
When you received your Quickbit card, you need activate the card. Open the Quickbit App, choose “Card” in the tab bar, then tap “Activate card” button, a new page will be opened. Please follow the instruction stated on the page. Firstly, set your 4-digit PIN code which you will use for in-store payments or ATM withdraw. Secondly,  fill in 3-digit CVC number from the back of your card. Then, the card is activated and ready to be used! 
Please note: you need to pay with PIN in store or ATM before making your first contactless payment.   

###### Can I choose the PIN code?
-Yes, you set your own 4-digit PIN code while activating the card in the app.

###### Can I change the PIN code?
-Yes, you can change your PIN code in the app whenever you want. Go to “Card” tab, choose “Pin code”, then follow the instruction to reset your card PIN code.

__What is the Euro account?__

A Euro account allows you to hold Euro via the Quickbit app. It is powered by our payment service partner Intergiro Intl AB (publ) where we can ensure your money is kept safely and securely. When opening a Euro account you also become a customer of Intergiro Intl AB (publ).

Once you have Euro account, you can exchange Euro between cryptos, make and receive payments, and reviewing historic transactions.

__What is intergiro?__

Intergiro, a Swedish electronic money institute regulated in Sweden by Finansinspektionen (The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority) under the Swedish Electronic Money Act (2011:755), Licence Reference: 48003, for the issuing of electronic money and provision of payment services under the Swedish Payment Service Act (2010:751).

Intergiro is regulated as an EMI (Electronic Money Institution) in Sweden, part of the EU. That means that all customers' funds are safeguarded and Intergiro are subject to strict rules to protect your funds.

##### Requirements for opening a Quickbit Account:

What do I need to create and use an account?

Quickbit is a financial service company, which means that we must adhere to a set of rules and regulations. With that set aside, we also take your security very seriously, which is why at some point we may need you to take a moment to verify your source of funds. Check below what documents you need to send in depending on your source of wealth (please make sure that your name, dates, and all document information are clearly visible):

-__Salary:__
If your funds come from your salary, you’ll need to send us copies of your payslips from the last 3 months or your latest tax statement.

-__Savings:__
In order to verify your savings, we need to know how you earned that money. Please upload a bank statement showing the current balance of your savings account.

-__Subsidy/Allowance:__
If you are getting funds from for example CSN, Försäkringskassan, or other institution we need you to send us copies of documents that states the income

-__Inheritance:__
If you have inherited wealth, please upload the grant of probate, the inheritance will, and a bank statement showing the received funds along with your current balance.

What is Source of Funds and why do I need to verify it?

United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) defines PEPs as “individuals who are, or have been, entrusted with prominent public functions and their family members and close associates, and includes both domestic and foreign PEPs”.

Most countries base their PEPs definitions on the guidance issued by the 
[FATF](https://www.fatf-gafi.org/publications/fatfrecommendations/documents/peps-r12-r22.html "FATF") which categorize PEPs as:

- Government Officials
- Political Party Officials 
- Senior Executives
- Relatives and Close Associates

We are legally obliged to establish whether you, as a customer, might have any political connection.

What does this mean for you?
If we establish that you are a PEP we will simply ask you for additional information.

Who is a PEP?

FaceID, TouchID, and Passcode are used to unlock your app and keep your data more secure.

Every time you open the Quickbit app, you need to unlock the app with your face, fingerprint or passcode. This way, your account is safe from anyone else trying to access it.

If your device supports FaceID or TouchID, you will be asked to activate it when you create your account. 
If your device does not support FaceID or TouchID, you will be asked to select a six digit passcode when you create your account.

Why do I need to setup FaceID, TouchID or Passcode?

Quickbit establishes the exchange rate for cryptocurrency transactions (“consumer exchange rate”) by comparing prices on multiple exchanges. Quickbit also uses several exchanges to perform the order.

Which cryptocurrencies are supported?

Fiat money is a government-issued currency that isn't backed by a commodity such as gold. The US Dollar, British Pound, and Euro are fiat currencies for instance.

What is a fiat currency?

A private key is a randomly generated string of letters and numbers that make up a specific cryptocurrency wallet address. This address allows you to access your cryptocurrencies.

Quickbit is a hosted cryptocurrency wallet service, and thus your wallets’ private keys are safeguarded on your behalf to protect your account. This way only you can access your wallet.

What are private keys and where are mine?

Quickbit does not issue individual wallets. Once you create an account with us, you will get a virtual wallet. Your cryptocurrencies are securely stored in a 'pooled' virtual currency account.

The account is a repository of virtual currency private keys. We maintain our own internal ledger, which records all your transactions and is reflected in your Quickbit app.

Do I have an individual cryptocurrency wallet?

__Crypto Buy/Sell Transactions__

Quickbit charges a Quickbit Fee for each buy/sell transaction, as set forth below: 

- Zero-fee on buy/sell transactions totalling €500 in volume. Each buy/sell order contributes to your total volume, you can either make several orders or a single order of €500 without fees.
- Once exceeding a total volume of €500 we will apply a variable fee of 1,49% for each transaction. Maximum fee charged per transaction is €45 

Quickbit also charges a spread of 0.5% for cryptocurrency purchases and sales. However, the actual spread may be higher or lower due to market fluctuations in the price of cryptocurrency between the time we quote a price and the time when the order executes.

When payment is made in another fiat currency then euro, your cryptocurrency transaction will be subject to a foreign exchange transaction where local banking fees might apply.

__Crypto Send/Receive Transactions__

__Send internal__

Quickbit does not charge a Quickbit Fee for sending cryptocurrency from one Quickbit wallet to another Quickbit wallet (i.e. transfers between Quickbit users). 

__Receive__

Quickbit does not charge a Quickbit Fee for receiving most of cryptocurrencies from a third party wallet  (i.e. crypto sent to you from another Cryptocurrency Wallet Service). However, we do have a deposit fee for ETH, you can [read more here](https://quickbit.com/int/en-us/faq/fees/what-is-the-deposit-fee/).

__Send external__

Quickbit does not charge a Quickbit Fee for sending cryptocurrency to a third party wallet, however you will pay a Network Transaction Fee. Quickbit incurs and pays the Network Transaction Fee, such as miner’s fees, for any transaction sent on the blockchain from a Quickbit wallet to a third party wallet. For these transactions Quickbit will charge you the network fee based on our estimate of the network transaction fee that we anticipate paying for each transaction. In certain circumstances, the fee that Quickbit pays may differ from that estimate. All fees we charge you will be disclosed at the time of your transaction.

__Crypto Swap__

With a crypto swap, you can accomplish in a single transaction what would otherwise require two separate transactions. For example, you can directly convert Bitcoin to Litecoin.

Quickbit charges a spread margin of up to two percent (2.0%) for a cryptocurrency swap. The actual spread margin charged varies due to market fluctuations in the price of cryptocurrency between the time we quote a price and the time when the order executes. 

Quickbit does not charge a separate Quickbit Fee for cryptocurrency swaps.

__Earn wallet__

Quickbit does not charge any service fee for using the Earn wallet.

How much is the service fee?

__What determines the actual fee for receiving or sending Ethereum?__
When you do an on-chain transaction with Ethereum your transaction fee will be determined on the amount of transactions that are currently on the blockchain. The fee on Ethereum is measured in gas which is the unit that measures the amount of computational effort required to execute specific operations (transactions) on the Ethereum network. When the Ethereum network has a lot of traffic the gas-fees are higher, due to more computational effort required.

__What will the deposit fee be for receiving ethereum from an external wallet?__

When you are sending from an external wallet and receiving in your Quickbit wallet, you will have to pay an additional network fee. Quickbit does not earn any money on this fee.
The reason for this is due to the technical structure of Ethereum. Your Ethereum can only be received or transacted from one address to another, unlike other cryptocurrencies where you can transact from one address to several different addresses at the same time. In order to be able to allocate the correct amount of Ethereum to the correct address, we must create an individual Ethereum address for each user. However, Quickbit has to have a main Ethereum address where all the Ethereum transactions must go through in order for Quickbit to be able to control that everything is working correctly. Hence the two network fees, first to your individual address and then to Quickbit’s main address.
The upside for you as a user is that there will be a fixed fee which is lower when buying and exchanging Ethereum in the Quickbit app.

What is the ETH deposit fee?

A blockchain fee, also known as 'network fee', is a fee you pay when you send crypto on the blockchain, from your address to another. The fee is the payment for the mining, i.e. the process through which cryptocurrency transactions are gathered, verified, and recorded into a digital ledger known as the blockchain.

The actual fee you pay will vary according to the cryptocurrency you use. For example, a Bitcoin transaction will have a different fee in comparison to transactions placed on the Bitcoin Cash or Litecoin network.

Sending crypto to another Quickbit user is free.

How do I make a complaint?

To change the display currency, go to 'Profile' and select 'Display currency' in the settings menu. Changing the display currency will also change the settlement currency.

How do I change my display currency?

If you would like to close your account just contact our Customer Support directly through the in-app chat.

Please keep in mind that we are obligated to retain your data for 5 years to comply with regulatory requirements, such as anti-money laundering laws. This includes your personal information as well as any transactions that you may have done.

How do I close my account?

Currently, we do not have the option to see the exchange rates. However, we can recommend https://coinranking.com/ for the exchange rates. Please just remember that we have our own fees, which you can read about under the App Support section.

Where can I see/find the exchange rates?

Tap on the currency wallet it concerns. On the top right corner, you will see the QR code. Tap on it to see the address and the QR code. The address can be copied and shared as well.

Where do I find my wallet address/QR code?

When you are making a purchase you add the card in the payment step. 

There, you can also tap on "New card" to add another one when you make a new purchase.

You can verify your email address by tapping the link in the email we sent you. Your email address will be verified instantly.

Remember to check your spam inbox, just in case you didn't receive the verification link.

How do I verify my email?

If you forgot your passcode, you will not be able to unlock the app.

To reset your code, do the following:

1. Tap 'Forgot your passcode?'
2. Login with to your account again using eID
3. Select a new passcode

I forgot my passcode - what should I do?

We may close accounts in exceptional circumstances such as if our terms and conditions have been broken in a serious or persistent way.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide the account user with more specific information regarding the closure of the account. A decision to close an account is final and no additional measures can be taken to prevent us from executing the decision.

Why is my account locked/closed?

To change your personal details, go to 'Profile' in the app and select 'Account information'.

From there you can change the following information:

- Your email
- Your phone number
- Your address

How do I edit my personal details?

When you sign in on the App, go to 'Profile' and then 'Security'. There you can choose whichever option you want under 'App lock'.

If an option is not avaialbe to you, there could be several reasons:

1. Your device does not support FaceID or TouchID
2. You have not activated FaceID or TouchID in your phone settings
3. Your device is not offering a biometric that is considered secure enough

How do I switch between Passcode, Face-ID, and Touch-ID?

Verify your phone number by entering the code from SMS we sent to you. Your phone number will be verified instantly.

It can take up to 30 seconds until you receive the SMS with the code. If you didn't receive the sms, tap 'Resend code' in the app.


How do I verify my phone number?

When buying crypto in the app, you can use the following debit and credit cards:

- Visa
- Mastercard

What cards can I use to buy crypto with?

Yes, we have some limits and these may change from time to time. 

__Exchange crypto from or to Euro account__
The minimum amount to buy crypto from Euro account and sell crypto to Euro account is 5€ in value. 

__Send crypto outside Quickbit__
When you make a transaction to a non-Quickbit wallet the amount may not be less than the expected network fee to the blockchain. This fee may vary from blockchain to blockchain as well as the current demand of block space

Are there any limits in the app?

Once you have the Euro account you can send Euro to other bank account within the Signle Euro Payments Area (SEPA). 

Here is how to send Euro: 
1. On the Home screen, tap send. Choose Euro. 

2. Add amount.

3. Type or paste the account details of the recipient, including, recipient's name, IBAN, BIC and a message. 

4. Confirm if the information is correct and continue.

5. Your transaction is complete. In some cases, transactions may take a bit longer time when sending to an account other than Intergiro's.


How to send euro

You can exchange crypto to Euro with a Euro account, powered by our payment service partner Intergiro Intl AB (publ) where we can ensure your money is kept safely and securely. 

You can open a Euro account on the Home page under your crypto wallets. When opening a QB Payment Service Account you also become a customer of Intergiro Intl AB (publ).


Can I exchange crypto to fiat currencies?

Do I have to pay taxes on my crypto earnings?

Exchanging cryptocurrencies is easy with the Quickbit app. 

1. On the Home screen, tap Exchange. Select the currency you want to convert. 

2. Select the target currency and add the amount.

3. Confirm if the information is correct and continue. 

4. Your exchange is complete instantly.

How to exchange crypto

Once you have the Quickbit app in place you can send crypto to anyone with a wallet address. 

1. On the Home screen, tap send. Choose the cryptocurrency you want to send. 

2. Add amount.

3. Scan the QR code of the recipient's wallet or copy and paste the wallet address the recipient sent to you.

Make sure you send the same cryptocurrency as the receiving wallet use. For example, you can't send Bitcoin to a Litecoin wallet.

4. Confirm if the information is correct and continue.

5. Your transaction is complete. In some cases, transactions may take a bit longer when sending to a wallet address other than Quickbit's.

How to send crypto

1. From the Home screen, tap "Add funds". Choose the cryptocurrency you want to buy. You can tap the swap icon to change the display of currencies.

2. Enter the amount you wish to buy. 

3. Confirm if the information is correct and continue.

4. Add a payment card or choose a saved card.
Some banks don't allow purchasing of cryptocurrencies and will decline the payment.

5. Your purchase is complete instantly.

How to buy crypto

__Instant transactions are not visible on the blockchain, including:__
- Buy crypto
- Sell crypto
- Send crypto to another Quickbit user
- Receive crypto from another Quickbit user
- Swap crypto

__Transactions that you can view on the blockchain include:__
- Send to an external wallet address
- Receive from an external wallet address

Will my transaction appear on the blockchain?

Since Quickbit is a hosted cryptocurrency wallet service, we can give our users the advantage of instant transactions.

The following transactions are instant:

- Buy crypto
- Sell crypto
- Send crypto to another Quickbit user
- Receive crypto from another Quickbit user
- Swap crypto

Are all transactions instant?

Transactions on the blockchain are essentially private. That means that the person behind a transaction is hidden.

However, since Quickbit is a hosted cryptocurrency wallet service, we will show you the name of the person who sent you crypto, if that individual is also a Quickbit user. The name will appear in the list of transactions and on the receipt. 

If the crypto came from a user from another wallet provider, we have no way to show you who sent it. Perhaps it was a gift!

How do I see who sent crypto to me?

You can choose the following options:
Daily
Weekly on day x
Monthly on date x

What options for recurring purchases do I have? 

It will automatically cancel the scheduled purchase and you need to redo the recurring purchase set up. You will also get a notification in the app regarding insufficient funds. 


What happens if I don't have sufficient funds in my bank account?

We have a limit of minimum one (1) EUR, or the equivalent in any other accepted FIAT currency. 


What is the minimum amount to schedule?

Yes, you can cancel it whenever you want in the app. 


Can I cancel the recurring purchase?

Yes, It is the same fee as for a regular purchase.


Are there any fees?

Terrorist financing is to financially support terrorism by direct contributions or by gathering, receiving, or transfer money and other assets that serve the purpose of financing terrorism.

What is Terrorism Financing?

Money laundering is to take actions with the purpose of hiding the link between a crime and money, or other assets.

What is Money Laundering?

Quickbit requires you to provide your phone number, email, and address in order to complete transactions. We also require information on how you intend to use the service, how much money you intend to save or transact in a given space of time and provide identification.

This is partly because Quickbit has a responsibility to the governing financial institutions for each market, but also so that we can contact you when you need support, detect divergent behavior, keep your money safe, and track criminal activity.

Why do you need my phone number, email, and address?

As a financial service, Quickbit is obligated under anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations to retain information about you and your transactions for a period of 5 years. 

We will not hold any of your personal data for more than 5 years after we stop providing the Quickbit services to you.

How does Quickbit process my data?

If you suspect that your account has been hacked or notice an unrecognised transaction on your account, please contact our customer support through the chat in the app. We will lock your account from making further transaction while investigating the issue.

If you've received a suspicious SMS or email, that seems to have been sent from Quickbit, please let our Customer Support know.

We strongly advise customers that use eID to sign in, to change their password in their eID app if they suspect that they have been hacked.

If you use email and password, please change your password and make sure that your password is strong.

I have been hacked

If Quickbit has made the decision to close your account, you will not be able to use our services anymore. This also means that you will not be able to open a new account. However, if you asked for your account to be closed you can set up a new one. 

Can I open a new account if my current one has been closed?

If your phone has been stolen or lost, we recommend you to following any guidelines on how to protect yourself, provided by your phone manufacturer (i.e. Apple, Google, Samsung). 

Your Quickbit app is protected by your login method, eID or email and password, as well as by FaceID, TouchID or passcode. Thus your account with us is safe.

Simply download the Quickbit app on your new smartphone, sign in and setup FaceID, TouchID or passcode again.

If you suspect that your Quickbit account has been altered with or notice any unrecognized transactions, contact our customer support through the chat in the app.
